Lowco Café is your new favorite local coffee shop and meeting place!
We're excited to be part of the neighborhood and we look forward to serving you! It is our goal to consistently provide our customers the best products with a smile! The café exclusively serves and sells Lowco Coffee, roasted daily right next door at Lowcountry Coffee Roasters - providing us with the freshest coffee & espresso in town.

Meeting room
Inside the café is a private meeting room, complete with tables and chairs. This meeting room is available to customers on a reservation only basis. We can also arrange for catering options. Just the room is $25/hour and can comfortably seat 8-10 guests. Please email us at ccorsino@lowcocoffee.com for availability and pricing!
Drive-thru
Kids and/or dogs in the car? Not quite dressed for the day? Don't worry, you won't even have to get out of your car! The café has a drive-thru window for you to get your morning or mid-day fix. Make us part of your morning routine, pop by for lunch, swing through for a mid-day pick-me-up!
Indoor/Outdoor Seating
We have plenty of parking - Come on in! Enjoy our large, beautiful, covered porch area. We have enough seating for about 30 people and have a charging bar inside for your devices and FREE WIFI.

We are all about supporting local! We try to stock our shelves with as much local products as we can. If you're a local vendor, we would love to hear from you! We are also proud to offer coffee beans from all over the world, many of which are also organic and/or fair trade coffee. We value our local community and environment, but we also love the planet! That's also why we try to use as much compostable or recyclable paper and plastic supplies as we can, and our building is designed with features that help us reduce our carbon footprint. We strongly believe that supporting our local surroundings helps globally.

JOB DESCRIPTION
COUNTER ATTENDANT/CASHIER/BARISTA
Provide timely, friendly, and accurate service while preparing the highest quality beverage and menu items for our guests. Demonstrate the use of equipment, such as an espresso machine.
ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary
o Greet customer, take order at counter and/or drive up window.
o Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable).
o Prepare and serve (hot, cold, blended) drinks and menu items consistent with the Cafés standard recipes.
o Cook food or prepare food items, such as sandwiches, salads, wraps, menu items, according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications. Weigh and grind coffee beans. Serve prepared foods such as baked goods.
o Wrap, box, bag, menu items for serving or takeout. Date food items for sale
o Replenish all items as needed at guest beverage prep stations.
o Restock and replenish all items as needed in the café.
o Maintain cleanliness in all areas of café including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, storage areas and seating area.
o Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary. Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to the manager. Take out trash.
o Describe menu items to guest, provide product details such as coffee blends and/or preparation descriptions
o Balance receipts and payments in cash registers.
o Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.
o Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
o Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
o Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
o Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register.
o Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
o Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
